Volunteers are the Heart of Habitat

Lincoln County MO Habitat for Humanity could not exist without its volunteers! They are the backbone, heart and soul, hands and feet of Habitat whether they wield a hammer, assist with our fund-raising events, donate building supplies, or help the organization in an administrative or financial capacity or in some other way!

So, please give us a hand! Help us put God’s love into action and bring people together to build homes, our communities, and hope!

Help Build or Improve Houses

We give housing applicants a “Hand-up,” not a “Hand-out.”

Recipients are required to help build or improve their own homes (perform sweat equity) and also pay an affordable mortgage.

Our build crews consist of volunteers who are dedicated to help our construction staff stay on schedule. Whether you are an expert or a novice, our build crews are a great place to learn the Habitat construction process and develop specialized skills. Tasks range from finishing work to getting the construction staff and the site prepared for upcoming build days.

Work for one day or a part of a day if that is all your schedule allows. Construction leadership. We cannot build homes without the help of construction leaders who provide guidance and oversight for voluneers on the build site.

Help at Upcoming Events

Our fund-raising events are the lifeblood of Lincoln County MO Habitat for Humanity. And we need volunteers in order to stage a successful event.

There is plenty you can do: help plan events, bring in sponsors, deliver flyers to potential sponsors, donate game prizes or help secure donations, setup and breakdown of the events, and so many more things to do.

Give us ideas for events! For information about upcoming events, please visit our Upcoming Events page or contact us. To volunteer for any event, please call us at (636) 528-4112 or email us at: info@habitatlincolnco.org;.
